Could anyone confirm what this is? If this is what I think it is, it would be my first encounter with #scale ! The removal of this #pest would be done by using a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol, correct? If not, what would your #pestcontrol #tips be? If this isn’t scale bugs... #whatisit and how do I make it #goaway ?
It also looks like it could be new roots. If it is scale you can easily pick them off or make a mixture of alcohol diluted with water and spray/dab them off.
They came off with alcohol and slight pressure. They certainly appeared shell-like when they came off. Under the shell there was something that appeared green. I couldn’t find my jeweler’s loop so I couldn’t get a great idea of what the organism looked like, but I’m 90% sure they were not “of the plant”. They’ve all been removed. Thanks for the reply @littlemorningglory

@ubik.oni Yeah if they came off that easily then it was definitely scale. I hope you are able to get rid of them☺
Keep a close eye out is they don't come back. Eggs & crawlers are very tiny. Keep checking for 3-4 weeks
