I posted a photo just before this one .. I'm confused why there's all these buds together.. are they supposed to be like that? I literally have no clue lol 😂 how could they bloom so close together 🙈

Theres nothing wrong with this rose 🙂 its just the variety. The biggest 1 will end first, remove it quickly to give breathing space to others. Ive known some people to just cut the biggest one out to give space but this isnt essential

Also when you dead head this rose just snip it down to the nearest healthy leaf (bud) this is where it will continue to grow from

Oh I see 😀 that makes sense now! Do you know what kind of rose this is? I've had a read but there's different pruning instructions for each variety.. could it be a shrub rose?

Anytime. Im no rose expert! I just looked at your other pic, its not a shrub. Its flowering exactly the same as some big climbers I pruned today
