First year fruiting for #plum tree #2 and has dozens and dozens! #officegarden #schoolgarden

Not sure if this is the right #plum variety or not. It was planted in our #schoolgarden about 5 years ago and fruited for the first time last year. Fruit is small with tart skin, but sweet flesh. Fun fact: I was able to get two seeds to sprout and now have two daughters about 6-7 in tall!

2020 update: the mother plant got bulldozed in March during construction on our building and the two babies from 2019 didn't make it thru the winter. I did manage to get a couple dozen more from this year to germinate!

#plumtree babies! I harvested several dozen fruits last summer and over wintered the seeds in the fridge. Sadly the mother tree in the other photos got bulldozed in March for renovations on our school.
