Love this flame lily. Take the rhizomes out during winter and plant back in spring, flat near the soil surface. Leaves have hooks that allows this climber to attach itself to its surroundings. A must have in any tropical or urban garden as a wow peace :)
Would love to grow some. They are the national flower of Zimbabwe ... Where we are from. I've tried to grow them a couple of times but the little rhizomes just rot in the pot!!!😕

I bought mine already as a plant and I've lost only one rhizom in the past couple of years. Keep in a dry place during the winter months to avoid rotting and I would not overwater during growing season.
