Time for a update. Been here for 5 years now so the garden is no longer brand new. It’s still windy, it’s still stony and I still have so many plans.

22 weeks ago I asked myself on here if this would be the year this flowered. It is and I love it. 5 years has been a long wait but it’s worth it #oakleavedhydrangea #longwait

That's beautiful. I've never grown an oak leaf hydrangea. Are the easy like the normal ones, and how come it took so long to flower? If they all take that long I'm not sure I have the patience to wait 😁

It’s grown well Angie, and the foliage, which is what drew me to it, is lovely but I had seen the flowers and was getting frustrated. I don’t think it’s normal for it to be so slow! @angiecrazycatlady

I love the foliage Debra but I’ve had it a couple of years and it’s yet to flower. I just clicked on to the hashtag to see what it should look like!
