The flowers of the #alpinephlox #emerald cuhion blue tend to darken as the season goes on. Pretty little flower, nice dome shaped habit.

Oh, that is such a pretty little flower!!! Is it a ground cover?

It is low but it doesn’t ‘sprawl’ if you want to see it in situ you can look at #valshill (most recent) it’s s halfway up just to the left of the path @laneygarden

Very pretty 💜💜💜

Beautiful! Your whole property looks like total garden perfection!

Goodness! Thank you so much @laneygarden not perfect, but I am pleased with it after 5 years of taking it from a new build with nothing at all. Still lots of plans but I like to do it myself so it’s slow. The main problems are very stony ground (I call digging ‘quarrying’) and high winds from the sea!

Lovely dome of #alpinephlox planted last year and it’s done really well #emeraldcushionblue

That’s gorgeous Val 💜💜

Thanks. Love it’s shape at the moment Jane @pelly

Me too and I'm just wondering if I can shoehorn a couple in in my front garden 😄😄
This phlox is certainly a #tinytreasure but the effect of it en masse is huge. #alpinephlox #phloxsubulata
It's beautiful Val 💜💜💜
I love it Jane (have a hot pink one too) if anything it’s even denser now took this a couple of weeks ago, didn’t go out in the rain today - hooray for rain! @pelly
I've just got my first one, I hope it looks as good as this eventually Val and yes hooray definitely 🎉☔
