The ripening of the berries crept up on me. Thought I’d better get there before the birds 🐦 #rowan #mountainash
They are so much earlier than usual aren’t they? 🤔
Yes Jacqueline @awomanonabike all that sun I suppose. The worrying thing is that the birds will probably eat them now and even if they don’t the berries won’t stay on the trees so long so there will be a shortage of food for them later! If that makes sense!
Even the brambles are in fruit round here. I hope you’re wrong about the birds...
I do too Jacquline @awomanonabike

What a fabulous morning to be setting off on holiday. Taken lots of pics of things about to take off (🤨) most should still be okay when we get back 😀. #rowan getting better every year.

Rowan buds looking furry. Doesn’t the blue sky help. Looking forward to seeing it this year, it’s getting established now #newgrowth
Fab pic 👍

'Sheerwater seedling' second year in the garden, first year for berries #rowan #mountainash #criafol #sorbus #berries
Good morning All. Thought I’d start the week with a pic of the berries on the #mountainash before the birds strip them bare #rowan
They look so lovely when they're full of berries.
They do @cee unfortunately mine’s not as full as usual. We had a storm when it was in blossom and the salty windy burned the tree badly so I’m just pleased to see it survive.
