Meant to post this one last week. My mystery #eremurus is most definitely #bungei and is a yellowy orange. I thought it was supposed to be tall but I'll take it as it survived and flowered
The ones I bought at the flower show were a no go. According to previous posts I picked this one up in flower from a dodgy nursery 😂 That must be the one out in South Woodham Ferrers direction. Looks run down but has odd treasures in it @jadojado29
@flof1952 supposedly plant them on a mound of grit or sand with the head of the crown exposed. I've failed several times with the crowns. I think it's just a bit a luck that I found a flowering plant and planted it slightly above ground level
Had a lovely day out and popped into a couple of gc's on the way. Lunch and cake at the first one (no plants bought 😮) and found this #foxtail-lily-bungei at a little run down looking nursery. Been trying to grow these from bulbs unsuccessfully for a couple of years. Let's see if I can keep it going 💛
