Ricinus communis 'Carmencita'

I think this #ricinus is new Zealand purple. Love the way the leaves start #purple (or red) depending on the light and then go green 💜💚

This looks like the one I have. Good to know the cultivar name for future 👍

It might not be @ublaszko 😂😂😂 I'm trying to get an ID done at the moment 😉 I'll let you know when I have a definitive answer

@ublaszko The consensus is that it could be #ricinus-carmencita-red (which is not what I bought) 😂

Mine was sold as 'Red Giant' bit I'm not sure if it's recognised name or just a marketing gimmick. But it looks different to Carmencita. It looks closest to Gibsonii.

It's a pain for those of us who are a bit OCD with plant names 😂😂😂 @ublaszko
