Just bought 2 of these today at a local market. Not had much success getting them through the winter before, but worth another try at 2 for £5 😊

The three I put in last year have all come back up despite being left in the ground @jeatacake These ones came as bulbs/tubers (can't remember which) and I potted them up for me and my respite lady. Hers are in pots, mine have been in the ground since the last frost ☺

Thanks Julie. I'm going to take a chance with mine, but will plant them quite deep, hopefully out of reach of frost! 👍

All i did was cover most of the border with a mulch of not so well rotted horse manure about an inch thick. Most plants have survived @jeatacake

Not sure I can get my hands on any of that (metaphorically speaking!) but may use some kind of alternative mulch. Cheers Jules 👍😊
