When your mother loves cilantro and wont give it time to recover from all her picking -_- . Hope I can keep it alive, it's looking pretty skinny. Advice?
Ya at times, it would be like that similar to once you have done a nice pruning 😊 You can add few fallen Tree Green Leaves to the base of the stem. Let me know of it improves
The #leggy appearance could be a few things. But I see flowering heads, with is the end of the growing period for ME in Wisconsin. We plant this only as an annual. Probably not much help. @ShelleySnyder
Usually once cilantro is picked over, that's it. Not sure what the encyclopedia listing means when it says longstanding. I've only known cilantro to be an annual. You could try pinching it back a little at each stem, might promote growth and bushiness. Don't let it flower unless you're ready for it to set seeds and die
@KariSamuel thanks for the help! @lesliecole49 thanks! I forgot your! There were so many I could have tagged I went blank after a few!🤔😲 Must be age!!😂😂💘😍
@ShelleySnyder sent me over. I know you already got good information, but I wanted to add to it. I was told recently (by ? -I will have to look it up) that #cilantro has two basically different kinds of plants: 1-grown for leaf use 2-grown for seed use. If it is for seed use, no matter what you do, the plant goes to seed asap. I found this out the hard way. Anyway. You should still have time to grow more, depending on your weather. I can grow it most of the year. ❤
