I live in Alabama, zone 8b. I love flowers and plants of all kinds! Would consider myself as a beginner so any advice or tips is greatly appreciated.

@Acetaker it is starting to put off a brown bulb looking thing on the vine, which will get bigger and you can just pull it off and plant it.

@ShelleySnyder @Acetaker you can also take the bulb from it dry it out and keep it and replant in the spring or in my case I had forgot to plant it and it just starting growing under the patio on the table😀🌼

@ShelleySnyder oh yes this is definitely a keeper for me, seen this vine as a lil girl growing on many porches. I was very thankful to get one now if I could just get it to grow right. Maybe I should throw up some string and plant in the ground.

@Acetaker I'm not gonna say it doesn't, mine hasn't put off a flower and I don't ever remember seeing flowers on it.

The pods it forms are seed pods. They form from a flower. Has it bloomed at night?

Air potatoe. Sounds crazy but that's really the name of the plant.
