Geranium 'Brookside'

The geranium selection in my garden! I originally thought a geranium was something else that I didn’t like but once I realised what a fabulous plant this is, I fell in love with it. I love how it creeps between the other plants but the flowers stand proud. Purple is Cranesbill Brookside, Purple and White is Striatum ‘Splish Splash’ and the pink is Herb Robert which I rescued from a gutter and planted in the garden! #geranium #purple #white #pink

It is gorgeous! Sometimes almost white, sometimes huge splashes but always gorgeous. I even had one stem come up entirely purple 🤔 @kez001uk

@victorial I love plants like that, never know what to expect from them 😛 don’t have any geraniums so these are definitely on my wish list now 😍

Omg..so funny you say you thought you didn't like geraniums!! Me too! Actively thought I didn't want them at all (how I imagined) and then realised that hardy geraniums are EXACTLY the plants I see wafting a gorgeous purple swathe through most of the cottage gardens I love lol!! I was thinking im too late to plant now? Id love splish splash and rozanne..there were 30 fresh seeds for ss on ebay for £2.50 but I forgot to get them and now its all 5 seeds for same! (Must be GREAT growers!).xx

To think I nearly didn’t have geraniums because I’d confused them with another plant I don’t like! Thank goodness I didn’t and lovely this flower duo at the moment!

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday a purple edge appeared to the bud and today it is an exquisite flower. I love how quickly plants spring up! #macro #purple
