Senecio candicans 'Angel Wings'

The camera never quite gets this the right colour but here’s a #quirky impulse buy I bought earlier this year. I love that they break up the green in the garden and have such tactile, distinctive silver velvet leaves #silver #foliage

Last photo for today. #advice needed please. Anyone have any ideas why this particular #Senecio plant is wilting? No sign of pests, the plant is in tact, the soil is damp but not sodden but it’s like this? I have three in all, one has been munched, one is perfect but they are both very happy. Just this one which keeled over about three days ago 🤔 #help #helpneeded #helpplease #adviceplease 23-06-19

Just beautiful. I have mine in a pot but also use it to break up the green. Really effective 💚🖤

@telswirld I know! They didn’t even eat through the leaf, just a sort of layer! I can’t see any evidence of what did the munching 🤷‍♀️

So I’ve learned that today is #foliagefriday and this has to be one of my absolute faves! A picture was never going to do justice to the velvet-like leaves or the amazing silver colour but this plant is a gem! In the picture of my garden, you can see how it breaks up the green foliage and purple flowers and it’s such a happy little plant! Nicknamed ‘Angel Wings’, I bought one, planted it and promptly went back for four more 😂
