Thanks @anges. This spot basically gets no sunlight and is constantly damp. It’s super happy here after someone recommended it!

Another #quirky detail are the teeny star flowers and the ghostly appearance of the fronds. Foam flower is an apt name and it is flourishing in a difficult side bed! #FoamFlower #tiarella

@kez001uk I just think this plant is an all-rounder. I also love the really dark almost black stems that get left behind. I accidentally came close to killing these by putting them in a spot that was too sheltered from the rain (when they were in pots waiting to go in) and all the leaves turned upside down. I was gutted but I gave them a drenching and an hour later they were right as rain! Resilient little plants that is for sure!

@victorial they’re certainly resilient! I have heucheras and no matter what’s thrown at them they bounce back 😁 although I prefer the flowers on tiarellas 😍

@kez001uk they were only the eighth or ninth plant I’d bought ever so I was so worried but you are right - they did bounce back 😊

Back from the brink! I nearly killed my three Tiarella plants by accident after moving them a bit too near to the house and out of the rain! Forgot to check on them then found them with all their leaves wilted and upside down and the flowers drooping onto the ground. Planted them out asap and gave them loads of water and two days later they’re back to normal! Phew.
