The blackthorn bin hedge is growing!
I put in some whips last year and ended up taking them out and just leaving the hawthorn although next door's still overhangs a bit. Lethal stuff! Be super careful trimming it, it goes right through gloves/clothes/face!! (Also I learned the hard way, don't push waste down in brown bin if there's any chance there's blackthorn snippings in there!)
Thank you - good to know. I just want my own sloes! Someone locally has a successful hedge so will get their thoughts.
