Hi everyone. Can anyone advise me? I have a very unhealthy weeping cherry tree. It is in it's first year. Bought last Summer, it had a good winter and produced beautiful blossom in early Spring but since has been shrivelling fast. Any advice would be gratefully received - many thanks

@vlauder Was it container grown when you bought it or just recently potted prior to sale? Or bareroot? Either way it may need a bit of support for a couple of years because windrock could be damaging fragile new roots • Have you watered it regularly?

Thanks Ian. I thought I was watering enough but now am wondering. It was bought in a container but I do not know whether potted for sale. I do recall that it was blown over in a bad storm about a month ago and wonder whether that can throw into some form of shock or growth disruption? Would you know how I can best bring it round ?
