Scindapsus pictus 'Exotica' syn. Scindapsus pictus 'Exoticus', Scindapsus pictus 'Trebie'

Hey plant friends! I have a question about growing vines in water. I am a frequent over waterer and found this nifty set up at a plant sale a few weeks ago. I was told that the Pothos can grow in water well so I was super excited to not have to worry about killing it but I've had two fully yellow leaves that I removed and there are two more leaves with yellow spots starting on them. I would love to hear about your experience with growing vines in water and where I may be going wrong!

Hi @KelsiBriana I have not changed the water yet but is on my list! Do you have a suggestion of how often to do this? We have city water so I worry about the flouride and other chemical contents. Do you think a full dose of house plant fertilizer would be okay or should I look for something different? Thanks for all your help!

@KelsiBriana Wonderful to hear! I will mix up a small batch when I get home then. 😊 Have you grown them in wine bottles? I don't have a brush and wondering if a good rinse and some shaking with soapy water will do enough or if I should invest in a bottle brush. I can't imagine they're too expensive but the less time I spend in the store means less time for me to buy more plants. 🤑😆
