Congo Cockatoo responding well to being pot bound and fed when drooped, proved to be quite a challenge this one 😅

What did you feed it with?
The 'Congo Cockatoo' never stops flowering 😆😍
Until it drops all its leaves 😢 I just can't keep this alive and it's not really a tricky thing to grow do you have any tip?
Haha the saga continues @slj me, my brother and my mom keep taking cuttings of the ones that stay alive because we know they will eventually die we've kept it so long extending it through cuttings 😂
Yes my family have dun the same for generations. But I'm the only one left now and I'm afraid to say I think I have given up. They used to do fine befor I had central heating, so I passed my last one to kimmy, she has a conservatory so maybe she will have more luck.
I'm glad we're not the only ones to struggle with it, genuinely one of the fussiest plants I've owned, I'm convinced it likes wet soil and cool environment although every care advice will tell you hot and humid which kills it in my account 🤔😏
I agree moist and cool defiantly don't let it dry out. I have got to the point when I see those leaves start to curl I just want to cry but sometimes even when all the leaves are gon they just grow back given the time. I have dreams of one day having a massive one in the corner happy but then I do dream some random impossibilities, like flying, world peace and similar such things 😜
We'll have our huge mother plants one day @slj 😂 and hopefully alot of the other things too 😘
Yes this plant needs lots of T.L.C ☘
Wow, I've not seen one of these for years. I used to have one, I think when I was a student. I wonder what happened to it... 😉
So unusual never seen one before !!! 😍
Omg!!! That's amazing @wesleybrian love anything unusual is it easy to grow/keep? And is it for indoors or out? Or both?
This is very fussy @cazz47 I have to keep cuttings of it incase it dies haha never stops flowering though which is amazing 💖
