It's like an untamed Azalea. It should be about ready to flower.

Thanks pelly and Diane. It's got so spindly I couldn't tell what it was. Would now be a good time to prune?

It is time to prune but I always wait until flowering finishes as mine's starting to bloom now. @wil if you identify the plant on your pictures then you will get tasks automatically sent for each plant with a guide on when it's time to prune/ mulch etcetera..
