Love these yellow tails don't see them so often.
Somehow I remember seeing them more often as a child. But they simply can't resist nibbling the banksia. :-)
They do make a mess but gardens are for everyone I think @WrenCottage

I was so excited to find these cockatoos feeding in banksias I'd planted about 7 yrs ago. So much of their habitat has been lost, so happy to put some back.
He is a beauty. We get them here all the time. It is always a sign of rain when the black cockies fly over.
