How hardy are these and do they propagate from leaves @Yollymac ? Im about to do another succulent order :D
@livingdecor - Hi Ashlee, I haven’t propped it as yet, but it’s outside under my veranda in Victorian winter and surviving so far. 😀
@Yollymac thanks, it sounds hardy at least! I’ve decided to get a jelly jam but now I’m tossing up if a Romeo and Ebony should go in the cart too. I’m a bit worried how touchy they are. I’d be devastated if I spent a lot and killed them.
@livingdecor - I have no problems with my Romeo’s or Ebony and you are experienced. Romeo can turn quickly though when it does decide it’s not happy.
@Yollymac do you do the whole watering only from the bottom for Romeo or treat it the same as your others but keep a closer eye on it? I think I’ll just splurge and try! 😬
@livingdecor I have literally nearly 700 plants. I can’t afford to keep anything that needs that amount of effort - nothing stays that are drama queens.. Horses and cattle included! 😂. I will tag you in and show you.
@Yollymac Perfect - thanks so much! That (other than the cost) is what has turned me off in the past. I only have probably 150ish myself but 2 young kids and way too many common varieties for work to keep me busy. I don’t have time to go bottom watering everything and blowing water off with straws like I’ve heard stories about 😂
@livingdecor - I absolutely hear you. I blow water off with my mouth if I see it. But I water with one of those pressure bottles that you use for weeding from Bunnings. I water on the stones so the plant doesn’t get it in the rosette.
@Yollymac that’s a great idea!
