Aspidistra elatior

New shoot growing. Meanwhile I can see very tiny white bugs moving in the soil in this pot. Not sure what to do about it.

@suzyw I don't know. Can't I just spray some pesticide?

@suzyw You know what I did. Removed all the soil. Rinsed the roots. Repotted and buried a clove of garlic in the new soil. Might have killed it with that but feeling like a pro 😎

Sometimes they arrive in the compost. I'd do what was suggested and buy a new bag of houseplant compost to repot it 😃

Also make a garlic tonic to water your plants as this will repel them to you can mist them with it too. 👍

@brightcolours Difficult plants, on the other hand, make you make more mistakes and hence learn fast 😄
