Ribes Rubrum

I have refrained from picking these as they are still a bit hard & in blackcurrants, this would mean they were unripe. Does anyone know how to check for ripeness in redurrants?

My redcurrants are becoming red, my blackcurrants are becoming black, & both soon shall be plucked 😊

Look out for them hungry birds 😟💚👒
