Planting

From Early Spring TO Early Spring

Fill the pot up to a third with gravel or the like as it needs to have good drainage then top up with soil that is high in a peat composition. It grows well in a darkish position and must not be placed in sunlight or a bright area or it will not do well.

Propagation

From Early Spring TO Mid Spring

New crowns that form well away from the parent plant can be carefully prised apart and re potted, water well to let it settle in.

Flowering

From Early Spring TO Early Spring

In the right conditions Flamingo plants can flower nearly all year.
