Masterwort 'Gracilis'

Clump-forming herbaceous perennials with 3-lobed glossy leaves and branching stems. The flower-heads are excellent for fresh and dried flower arrangements. The mid-summer blooms are produced in star-like whorls of papery bracts in a range of colours - creams, pinks, greens, reds and plums. Astrantia Major usually grow to around 60 cms and Astrantia Maxima to around 90 cms. 'Gracilis' bears soft rose pink flowers with a larger silvery pink ruff. As the flowers age, they become almost silver, with green tips.
