False Indigo Carolina Moonlight in the GardenTags plant encyclopedia

Baptisia 'Carolina Moonlight'

False Indigo 'Carolina Moonlight'

A spreading, upright, clump forming shrub with leaves like clover which are blue/green in colour. Dark blue flowers which often have spots of yellow or cream and in autumn bear seed pods resembling the pea. Drought resistant. 'Carolina Moonlight' reportedly resent transplanting but I have divided mine three times with no problems. Roots do go deep.
