Bauhinia trees typically reach a height and width of 6m. They sport mid-green, lobed leaves usually up to 15cm across. The five-petaled, 12cm flowers, generally in shades of red, pink, purple, orange, or yellow, and are often fragrant. The tree flowers from late winter and often continues to flower into early summer.
