This small herbaceous red-stemmed plant from Papua New Guinea can grow to 30cm in height and has fine, feather-like leaves that are dark green on top and maroon underneath. It has light pink flowers but is prized mainly for its ornamental foliage. Needs high humidity, moist but well-drained, fertile soil and bright indirect light to thrive. Best for indoor or terrarium gardens.
