Begonia chlorosticta

Begonia chlorosticta

This soft cane begonia originates from Sarawak and has leaves that grow up to 12cm in length. There are two variations, brown and green, with both bearing leaves that are bordered and spotted with light green in front and fully red beneath. The succulent stem is red before maturing to green and flowers are white tinged with pink. Like most begonias, this needs a well draining medium that retains moisture.
