Bougainvillea 'Raspberry Ice'

This vine exhibits a profusion of raspberry-pink blossom-like bracts backed by contrasting variegated foliage.

You may wish to plant the bougainvillea in a pot or outside. If you are planting outside you will need to make sure that it is warm enough for the plant to thrive.

Bouganvillea's come in many different flower colours from white to subtle shades of pink through to vibrant orange, burgundy, red and purple. In the right conditions Bougainvillea can flower for up to 11 months of the year.

Plant container grown plants in mid to late spring in moist fertile soil.

Semi hard wood cuttings are taken from the current years growth from late summer to mid autumn the bottom of the cuttings is hard and soft on the top. With a sharp knife take a cutting of about 14cms, remove lowest leaves, dip end into rooting hormone, and place round the edge of a pot filled with a suitable compost, water well, they must remain moist till rooted, place under glass but in semi shade.
