Mustard 'Mizuna'

Oriental brassicas are excellent from late summer onwards right through the winter if grown under protection. 'Mizuna is a vigorous grower producing numerous stalks bearing dark green, deeply cut and fringed leaves. They have a fresh, crisp taste and can be used on their own or cooked with meat. Highly resistant to cold and grown extensively during the winter months in Japan.

Planting out

From Early Spring TO Mid Summer

Plant seedlings 4 - 6 inches apart in organically rich, consistently moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Plant them every other week for an ongoing supply of leaf.
