Brunnera sibirica
Siberian Bugloss
These hardy, herbaceous perennials make excellent ground cover. They have attractive, coarse, heart-shaped leaves in spring with sprays of small blue or white flowers carried on wiry stems. They thrive in all but dense shade. Brunnera sibirica is a more creeping plant than other Brunneras, having rhizomes that creep, and send up heart-shaped leaves. The sprays of little blue flowers, like forget-me-not flowers, appear above the foliage. Will grow in shade.
