Caltha Palustris Alba

White Marsh Marigold

Water buttercups are clump-forming, and have glossy, deep-green heart-shaped leaves and bright yellow or white cup-shaped flowers in Spring. As their name implies, they like boggy ground. 'White Marsh Marigold' is a compact marginal aquatic perennial with single white cup-shaped flowers with yellow stamens that appear in early Spring, often before the glossy foliage appears.
