A small upright shrub with glossy green leaves of varying sizes depending on the variety. Chillies tend to be long, narrow, tapering fruit. 'Rakita' is a tallish plant producing heavy crops of chilli peppers approx 6" long and tapered from about 1.5" A medium to hot chilli best grown in a greenhouse, as much for shelter as anything else, as the tallish plants need supporting when laden with fruit.
