Cardamine pratensis

 

Cuckoo Flower

Cardamine 'Pratensis' is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to 40–60cm in height. It grows pinnate leaves to 12cm long and the stems produce leaflets, each leaflet about 1 cm long. The flowers are produced on a spike up to 30cm, each flower sports four pale pink petals. It grows best in moist soil, close to water.
