Bowles' golden sedge

Carex elata 'Aurea' is a deciduous, ornamental grass with yellow leaves with a green margin. It's ideal for brightening shady areas, for filling gaps in borders and suitable for planting by water. It bears brown spikes of dark male flowers borne above green female ones in early summer. For best colouration, plant in partial shade.
