Planting young plants
From Early Spring TO Early Spring
Cibotium barometz is best grown in slightly acidic soil although it can survive in a slightly alkaline soil. It needs planting where it is protected from the strong midday sun. In temperate areas, cold winds and very strong sunlight are not a problem. It will only survive with a good level of humidity.
