Calamansi (Philippine Lime)
Calamansi is an economically important citrus hybrid predominantly cultivated in the Philippines. It is native to the Philippines and surrounding areas in southern China and Taiwan. Calamansi bears a small citrus fruit, usually 30-50 mm with a very thin green peel or orange when ripe. It is used in various condiments, marinades, and even beverages. Like other citrus fruits, the calamansi contains high vitamin C.
