Planting

From Early Spring TO Late Spring

Plant in acidic, rich, free-draining soil, in a sheltered, sunny or partially shaded spot

Propagating by cuttings

From Late Spring TO Late Summer

Propagate Diosma by tip cuttings taken in the warm late Spring to late Summer months. Cut a 1" piece of healthy stem, and strip off the leaves from the lower half. Fill a pot with a mix of perlite and peat moss, and water it well. Use a small stick to make a hole, and place the cutting in the hole. It will be approximately 6 months for the roots to grow sufficiently for the cutting to be planted out

Flowering

From Late Winter TO Mid Spring

The pretty pink flowers appear all over the shrub in late Winter through to Spring
