Coreopsis can be either Annuals or short lived perennials, depending on the variety. Mound forming with thin green leaves, sporting masses of flowers in summer. A sun-loving, drought-tolerant plant which attracts flying insects. Varieties of Coreopsis vary in height from .45m to 1.3m in height and the dwarf forms grow 10 only 15 - 30cm. Coreopsis auriculata is ideal for edging, the rock garden, or growing in containers. It sports bright golden-orange single daisies in late spring and early summer.
