Cosmos are half-hardy annuals which flower in summer to early autumn until the first frosts. Brightly coloured, saucer shaped flowers are numerous and daisy-like and sit above deeply cut, fern-like foliage. Cosmos 'Odyssey Red'. A compact variant, growing to 0.6m height x 0.4m spread, it flowers well into autumn and is suites to growing in containers and borders.
