Crocosmia paniculata

Crocosmia have bright green, sword-like foliage and wiry, branching stems and carrying buds which open to create a splash of colour in the late summer. They grow quickly and form clumps which can become invasive thus need dividing regularly. Crocosmia 'Paniculata' (Aunt Eliza) reach 1.2-1.5 m tall, with lanceolate leaves and deep orange to orange-brown flowers. It is a popular ornamental plant.
