Crocosmia have bright green, sword-like foliage and wiry, branching stems and carrying buds which open to create a splash of colour in the late summer. They grow quickly and form clumps which can become invasive thus need dividing regularly. 'Norwich Canary' has pale green foliage and bright yellow flowers.
