Original:Marginal plant. Damp soil, bog garden or shallow water. Flowers late summer to mid-autumn. New:Papyrus is a frost tender African native plant. It is upright and very slow growing. The stalks are tall and hollow, with thin grass type leaves growing out of the top of them. Green/brown flower clusters appear in Summer. This plant thrives as an aquatic marginal, or in a bog garden
