Propagation by seed

From Late Winter TO Mid Summer

Before sowing carrots, dig the soil to a fine tilth, breaking up any large lumps and removing any stones.. Make drills to a depth of 1cm (½in), leaving about 30cm (12in) between each drill. Sprinkle carrot seed thinly along the drill. Cover the seeds with soil, and water well with a fine-rose watering-can. Keep the soil moist until germination, about 10-20 days. Sow in succession for continuous cropping, from late Winter under cloches, or early Spring in open ground.

Planting

From Early Spring TO Mid Autumn

Do not attempt to plant seedlings to another growing site. They will not transplant successfully
