Dieffenbachia ‘Reflector'

Dumb Cane ‘Reflector'

Dieffenbachia has large decorative leaves in dark and light green shades. It can grow between 2m (6.5 ft) and 3m (10 ft) tall although houseplants typically reach 1.3m (4 ft). Dieffenbachia prefers temperatures between 15°C (60°F) and 26°C (80°F). It prefers indirect bright light. The common name of Dumb Cane comes from the fact that the sap, if ingested, can cause swelling of the tongue and throat. While not usually serious, it can cause suffocation.
