Planting Outdoors
From Late Winter TO Mid Spring
The best time is to plant out in early spring, but they can be planted out any time of the year, the later in the season they will need to be kept moist for the roots to become established. If the soil is heavy add sand or grit to help the drainage.
Propagation by seed
From Early Spring TO Mid Spring
Sow seed into flowering position in early spring, but in fact they will self seed quite readily.
Flowering Season
From Mid Spring TO Mid Summer
The pretty, open, pink/mauve flowers are small and produced on spikes and flower through the spring and summer.
