Escallonia 'Apple Blossom'

Escallonia 'Apple Blossom'

Escallonia is an attractive evergreen shrub which is easy to grow. It sports glossy leaves and produces many attractive flowers in late spring and early summer which are usually pink, red or white. It makes a great specimen shrub, but also makes a great hedge and is often used for hedging in coastal gardens where it is very suitable for growing. 'Apple Blossom' produces masses of apple-blossom pink, tubular flowers from early to late summer among small, glossy, dark green leaves. This compact, bushy, evergreen shrub looks lovely towards the back of a sunny, shrub border.
