Escallonia 'Pink Elle'
Escallonia is an attractive evergreen shrub which is easy to grow. It has lovely glossy leaves and produces many attractive flowers in late spring and early summer which are usually pink, red or white. Perfect for a specimen shrub, but also makes a great hedge and is often used for hedging in coastal gardens where it is very suitable for growing. 'Pink Elle' has deep green glossy leaves and a compact habit. The unusually large flowers are an attractive pink fading to white in the centre and appear in early summer and then again in Autumn.
